Important notice: Removing the trigger guard pin spring, which is required to remove the hammer for either the hammer installation or the carrier installation, can be very difficult and the job can be very stressful on even the strongest snap ring pliers.
These snap ring pliers are amazingly strong and capable of doing this specific job, and I've never had pliers that do this job better.
However, because this job is stressful on even the strongest pliers and because completing the job often requires extreme downward pressure on the tips of these pliers, FFT is not providing any extra warranty on these pliers or any warranty at all - all warranties or claims made due to these pliers failing will be made to the manufacturer of the pliers, Imperial U.S.A., and any request to warranty, take a return on, or exchange broken pliers made to FFT will be denied.
Additionally, I've found these pliers inadequate for any other snap ring removal on this gun. In fact, the only operation I've done on this gun with these pliers where the pliers did not break was using them on the 70019. They break easily, otherwise.
