June 15, 2026: Benelli OEM and Freedom Fighter Tactical Collapsible Stocks Are Running Low
In this June 15, 2026 inventory update, I discuss the rapidly declining supply of Benelli OEM skeletonized collapsible stocks and Freedom Fighter Tactical's USA-made collapsible stocks for the Benelli M4 shotgun. I explain why OEM stocks have become increasingly difficult to source, the differences between the Benelli factory stock and the Freedom Fighter Tactical version, and why Benelli M4 owners considering a stock upgrade may want to act sooner rather than later. If you're building, upgrading, or restoring a Benelli M4 shotgun, this update covers availability, features, pricing differences, and what to expect moving forward.
June 15, 2026 – OEM and FFT Collapsible Stock Supply Running Low
All right, folks. One thing that Planet Earth seems to be running low on right now is Benelli OEM skeletonized collapsible stocks.
It's interesting because Benelli has been shipping more shotguns with these stocks installed from the factory, so you would think demand would slow down. But that really hasn't been the case. We're continuing to sell them extremely quickly, and they remain one of the hottest Benelli M4 upgrades available.
We also offer our Freedom Fighter Tactical USA-made collapsible stocks, and one of the most common questions I receive is why there's roughly a $300 difference between the two.
The Benelli OEM stock is manufactured overseas. They're beautiful stocks, well-made, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. In terms of quality, they're excellent and have earned their reputation over the years.
The Freedom Fighter Tactical version is manufactured right here in Southern California. That means American labor, American taxes, American insurance costs, American environmental compliance, and American manufacturing expenses.
That additional cost is reflected in the final product.
There are also a few additional benefits included with our Freedom Fighter Tactical stock.
First, our stock does not count as an imported 922(r) part, which may be important depending on your particular Benelli M4 configuration.
Second, our stock comes equipped with a Limbsaver butt pad rather than the standard Benelli rubber butt pad.
Third, when you purchase one of our Freedom Fighter Tactical collapsible stocks, I will personally install either a one-point or two-point sling mount of your choosing. That service is included on our American-made version and is not something I provide on the OEM Benelli stock.
The reality is that either option is going to serve you extremely well.
I genuinely believe both stocks are beautifully executed products.
I originally developed the Freedom Fighter Tactical version because I anticipated a time when OEM stocks might become difficult to obtain. I wanted to ensure that Benelli M4 owners would continue to have access to a premium collapsible stock option.
While I personally prefer our Freedom Fighter Tactical version because of its features and domestic manufacturing, I don't think there's a wrong choice here.
The bigger issue is availability.
The OEM Benelli stocks, despite being the less expensive option, continue to become increasingly difficult to source. Long wait times between shipments are becoming more common, and supplies are drying up.
If you've been considering upgrading your Benelli M4 with a collapsible stock, this may be one of those situations where waiting could leave you searching for inventory that simply isn't there.
As always, thank you for your continued support of Freedom Fighter Tactical. If you have questions about Benelli M4 builds, 922(r) compliance, stocks, accessories, or parts selection, don't hesitate to give me a call or send me a text. I'm always happy to help.
