June 12, 2026 – The Freedom Fighter Tactical True Mil-Spec Top Rail for the Benelli M4

One of the most popular products we have offered over the years is our Freedom Fighter Tactical True Mil-Spec Top Rail for the Benelli M4. We have been producing these rails for at least 15 years, and they continue to be one of the most requested upgrades among Benelli M4 owners.

We recently received a fresh shipment, and they are once again available and ready to ship.

The Freedom Fighter Tactical True Mil-Spec Top Rail replaces the factory rail that comes installed on the Benelli M4. If you look closely at the factory rail, you'll notice a channel running down the center. Benelli designed this rail to allow shooters to see their factory ghost ring sights or Meprolight sight inserts through the optic mounting area if an optic fails.

While that feature has its advantages, many Benelli M4 owners choose to replace the factory rail for several reasons.

First, many shooters prefer the appearance of a true Mil-Std 1913 rail. Second, and perhaps more importantly, the factory rail does not always cooperate with certain aftermarket accessories, mounts, clamps, and optic-related products. In some cases, compatibility issues may not become obvious until months later after recoil, range use, transportation, and general handling begin loosening accessories or causing unwanted movement.

One of the benefits of our rail system is that it provides a true Mil-Spec interface designed to work with a wide variety of aftermarket accessories and optic mounting solutions.

Another feature customers appreciate is that every rail includes mounting hardware. We provide a package containing extra screws and washers with each rail. Historically, these components have often needed to be purchased separately, and replacement hardware can become surprisingly expensive.

Having spare screws and washers available is important because recoil can gradually loosen hardware over time. If a screw falls out at the range, it may be difficult or impossible to recover. Keeping replacement hardware on hand is one of the simplest ways to avoid unnecessary downtime.

In addition to including hardware with the rail, we also offer replacement screws and washers separately for customers who want to keep additional spares in their range bags, gun safes, or maintenance kits.
