In this video, I’m going to talk about our steel charging handles for the Benelli M4 shotgun. This is actually one of the products that got me started in this business back in 2008.
Right now, I’m holding both the ¾” steel charging handle and the ½” steel charging handle—and I’ll tell you right off the bat, these are absolutely gorgeous.
What surprises me is that with all the different charging handle options we offer, the ¾” steel charging handle continues to be one of our top sellers. It’s heavier than some of the other options, and you might think people would shy away from that—but that’s not what we see.
In fact, the ¾” steel charging handle has been our best-selling charging handle for about 18 years. The ½” steel version is right behind it, and even our titanium versions are right up there as well. They all perform well, but the ¾” steel version is the one that most people keep coming back to.
These charging handles are installed on tens of thousands of Benelli M4 shotguns, and they’ve proven themselves over time.
One thing I’ll mention is that the steel tends to match the overall look of the gun a bit better than titanium—but honestly, that’s splitting hairs. The Benelli M4 already has a mix of finishes and textures, so perfect matching isn’t really necessary.
At the end of the day, these steel charging handles are durable, reliable, and they just look great. I truly believe they’re some of the best charging handles on the market.
We’ve been making them for nearly two decades, and as long as Benelli keeps making the M4, we’ll keep making these.
