Installing an FFT QD1 Sling Mount onto a Benelli M4 Collapsible Stock 70085
In this step-by-step install, I show exactly how I mount the Freedom Fighter Tactical QD1 sling attachment to a Benelli M4 collapsible stock (70085)βno butt pad removal required. I cover the tools (9/64" hex wrench), which screws/bracket combo I use, how I position and center the backing plate, torque tips (and when Loctite is optional), and why QD1 is ideal for right- or left-side mounting. I also explain compatibility (works with 70085, not 70132), plus quick ways to swap sides later. Whether youβre new to the Benelli platform or a seasoned M1014 builder, this quick guide makes adding a QD sling socket fast, secure, and clean so you can level up your Benelli M4 build with confidence.

Hey, let's try a Freedom Fighter title. In this video, I'm going to show you how to attach a Freedom Fighter tactical qty one, mounting bracket to A70085 Benelli collapsible stock. Let's get started. Right now.
00:00:17:09 - 00:00:26:15

All right, folks, so the bracket we're talking about is the one. It is the one where the butt pad does not need to be removed. And as you can see in the video I have, this is a prototype

piece. This is a pretty much a garbage piece. And I figured if I'm going to do this, I'll do this on a piece of garbage, something that can be thrown away and the reason is, is because the screws that we use to mount into that hole do create little, markings and scratches.
00:00:43:03 - 00:01:09:09

And I don't want to do that on one that somebody is going to buy. So, basically, this mounting piece for the attachment, it goes on either the right or the left, you can choose and you can see that it's, it's kind of, it's kind of tapered there to fit in that slot. And then it comes with, I mean, bring into the picture here what it comes with.
00:01:09:11 - 00:01:35:01

It comes with a few different screws. And actually you can mount this on different guns. And that's why we gave you some different screws to work with. But I always use the larger of the two mounting brackets, and I use the larger of the two screws when I'm doing the one and it's actually very easy. You're going to need a, it's nine, what is it, nine 964 9/64.

Hex wrench to do this job. And basically it's as easy and you don't need to remove the butt pad. The butt pad is removed on this one, but for the one you don't need to remove the butt pad.
00:01:46:21 - 00:02:08:07

So what I do is, is I put my backing plate on there and I start with one screw and I get that one screw going. If you try to get too much going at once, it complicates matters. And you just kind of line it up. And there I feel it's taking right there. And I try to nudge it to where I want it.
00:02:08:07 - 00:02:22:10

I kind of want it centered on that, on that spot over there. I'm not going to tighten it too much, which I just did because I then I have to back it out in order to get the other one going.
00:02:22:12 - 00:02:43:11

And I get the other one going, and I'm going to try to nudge it up. You can't really see that I'm doing that, but I want it to be centered on that, on that spot back there. And there you go. So that's how you mount. And that's a solid as a rock. You don't need to lock tight it if you want to.
00:02:43:11 - 00:02:55:08

You can. But 969 64th 964 Allen wrench and.
00:02:55:10 - 00:03:08:02

A 964 hex wrench. And you're good to go. And that's on there solidly in the next video, I'm going to attach a key one. So stay tuned for that video. That one's coming soon.

By the way I hope this video helped you out. I hope it made you choose which one you're going to want. Of course, you're probably going to want to watch the other install video just to see how that one's done. But, this is a great mount, accessory for the 70085. This will not work with the 7013 to the European version.

I've got a video coming soon with how to install a cuddy on that one. But, if you've got the 70085 and you want to attach a quick and easy, and it can go on either side, right or left, you can choose. And if you decide later on you want to change it to the other side, you just take it off and put it right back on.
