The Freedom Fighter Tactical 922(r) Compliant Forend – Update

Today we received a very pleasing telephone call from the outfit that has created our 922(r) compliant forend – things are looking great. Just another couple of hoops to jump through and these should be listed on our website for sale.

Will keep you posted. And for all of you who have contacted us and expressed your desire to obtain a forend once they roll out, as well as those of you who are waiting quietly – thank you for your patience.

Oh, we’ve received a lot of questions about the pricing of this product. This is a number we have toiled with since the start of this project, and without a doubt this product will not cost more than $50, despite the great expense and the amount of time it took us to complete the project.

The Freedom Fighter Tactical 1/2 Finished Titanium Charging Handles – ready to ship!

Ok, we at FFT just hate taking orders on an item that is not in stock and ready to ship. But due to a few unforeseen delays, we had them listed in our store and have been taking orders for them for about the last week and a half. Those of you who have bought one have already been notified of the delay, and we appreciate your patience.

We suspect that the weather had a little bit to do with it, as the handles were shipped to us last Monday and only just arrived this afternoon.

So, for any of you who purchased our 1/2 finished Titanium charging handles, your order will ship tomorrow (Tuesday, January 4).

We are really excited about these handles, and the fit and finish is just perfect. They are truly a quality part and we are excited to get them to you.

Freedom Fighter Tactical 922(r) Compliant Forends – Due Any Day

Here at FFT, we have been swamped with inquiries about the FFT 922(r) Compliant Forends. If you have browsed the listing on our site for this forend, you have likely noticed that it says “Out of Stock.” It seems that many of you think you missed the first run of the forends – when in reality, there has yet to be a first run released. Our checkout system provides a default comment that we cannot modify, should an item be listed as having no current inventory.

Then, some of you are asking about preorders. At this time, we’re considering it.

Most of you are asking about being put on a “list” so you get a notification when they are ready. Well, we have started an informal list and if you would like to be put on it, please let us know.

Any news we have about the forend will be put here immediately for your consideration. The bottom line is, this part should be out any day, barring any unforeseen delays.

Contact page issues.

Just today, a previous customer emailed us to inform us that he had sent an email through our “Contact” page, but had received no response.

We looked into this immediately, because we at FFT make it our practice to answer inquiries quickly, in fact, we usually do not let an inquiry sit for longer than an hour.

In any event, there were issues with the Contact page that were not realized until we heard from this customer today, and we have now fixed the issue.

So anyone who attempted to contact us prior to 5pm on Sunday, December 27, 2010, will not receive an answer to their inquiry. To those individuals, we express our sincerest apology, and only hope that you either notice this blog entry or by chance you attempt to contact us again. We would contact you, but the Contact page did not capture your initial inquiries.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Welcome to Freedom Fighter Tactical!

Welcome, friends.

What can we say? 2010 was a great year for Freedom Fighter Tactical, and we appreciate your patronage. We went from a small start up with just three parts and have managed to grow it to quite a few parts in various styles, all for the Benelli M4 shotgun.

2011 should be an exciting year for Benelli M4 enthusiasts who enjoy our gear. As you may have noticed, we have totally revamped our website to be more informative and user-friendly. We have also added quite a few new parts, all of which are available today.

Well, that’s not exactly accurate. The 1/2 inch diameter Titanium tactical charging handles will be available any day. They are out of the machine shop, and should be back from the finisher any day. For any orders placed for this part, they will ship the day after they arrive.

Then we have the FFT 922(r) forend. This part has been in development for a good part of 2010, and is due to be released any day as well. The original goal was Christmas, but that was not realized, obviously. But it looks like it could be ready to ship just about any day now, just in time for the SHOT Show.

For those who may have questions about the forend, we chose to base our initial forend off the OEM forend because the only other forends offered at this time have rails, and based upon our understanding of the marketplace, many Benelli M4 users simply want a 922(r) compliant forend – but really like the OEM design and have no interest in rail systems and additional functionality of the forend.

The design of the OEM forend appears quite simple on the face, but instead, the design is quite complex, and the part has been worked up by some of the industry’s finest. We are confident that those who choose the FFT forend for their 922(r) compliant needs will be quite satisfied with the end product.

Again, to all of you who support FFT through your purchases, and to those of you who plan to try our stuff, a very heart-felt thank you. You mean everything to us, and we will continue to do everything we can to provide you with quality gear, readily available, at fair prices.
